At Data Solutions, we unlock the power of data through data science capabilities, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, to enable sustainable mobility, data-driven decisions for smart cities and tomorrow’s logistics operations.
We develop advanced solutions by leveraging raw anonymised data from Bridgestone and Webfleet connected assets, an ecosystem further enriched with data from third-party sources. Our innovative solutions revolve around data as a service and insights as a service for mobility providers, such as governments and city authorities, traffic and map providers, commercial fleets, data marketplaces and connected vehicle hubs. By bringing telematics data beyond the vehicle, we are enabling our customers to take advantage of new opportunities arising from a connected world to improve road safety, business operations, traffic management, predictive maintenance and sustainability efforts.
"Since the world is moving towards connected, autonomous, shared and electric mobility, we believe that data is a major piece of the puzzle: the new oil and the engine powering all these developments"

Data solutions team in a partnership with Analyze (by KbenP) has developed the ‘Unsafe Road Situations Monitor’ for the city of Alkmaar, in the Netherlands. This monitor provides the data and insights relevant to city authorities, enabling them to take data-driven decisions towards their city infrastructure to ultimately improve everyone's life. Furthermore, this innovative solution can easily be extended with other additional data, based on individual customization.
We have more than 2 million vehicles in service, operating in over 65 countries, ranging from heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to light commercial vehicles (LCV), buses and passenger cars. Furthermore, we have access to data from all major OEM brands and various business segments.
We can offer any set of data at a given point of time: either on-demand basis or via continuous data stream. Our data insights can be shared via a flexible API structure, or we can slice and dice the data according to our customers' requirements.
At Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, we collaborate with our partners to develop the advanced data solutions products that will play a crucial role in the digital transformation of mobility in the future.

Vehicle Data plays a crucial role in modern transportation systems, contributing to the enhancement of traffic management, reduce congestion, improve road safety, and support numerous other applications related to future mobility and urban planning. It serves as an invaluable source of information, delivering profound insights into diverse aspects of vehicle performance, driving behaviour, traffic dynamics, CO2 emissions, EV insights, road and weather conditions.
Our mobility data, or vehicle data, is collected from fleets extracting over 550 vehicle signals directly from our telematics devices or from the vehicle’s OBD and CAN bus.
We enable the development of AI-powered solutions designed to facilitate quicker and more impactful decision-making in the domains of road safety and infrastructure quality. Road Damage Detection product allows locating road damage such as potholes, cracks, manholes and patches. Road Asset Visualisation provides intelligence by analysing connected vehicle data, as well as processing video streams from cameras. This includes information such as road signs, traffic lights, road anomalies, pavement conditions, lane markings etc. Road Roughness Monitoring calculates the International Roughness Index (IRI), providing real-time updates and enabling comprehensive tracking of changes over time.
